VILLA IMARA

The land on which we operate has an area of 1,200 M².

The total constructed area of buildable computable purposes is 260 M².

In Villa Imara the architectural landscape draws a lifestyle and a way of working that are embodied as synonyms of its environment. Sometimes creativity requires a stamp of excellence, that remains indelible.

Imara will be identified as a major project, a project in collaboration with Stefan Antoni, where each volume becomes a remarkable singularity, a clear definition, in which the texture of the materials emphasizes the plasticity.

SYNOPSIS PROJECT BY THE ARCHITECTS IN MARBELLA

Villa Imara is a residential architecture project of detached houses in Marbella with very contemporary lines and a bold design. One of the main features of the house are its prismatic shapes, clearly defined volumes with sharp edges. Volumes intersect with others interrupting them, cutting its edges, creating a dramatic effect on their elevations. All this set of volumes in turn, creates a play of shadow that makes the facades have a shifting character throughout the day hours and changes continuously with the sunlight.

Furthermore, to emphasize this idea, the architects have designed each volume with a different coating or material in which the glass and wood are the main protagonists. Very different elements that cause the sought contrast. A warm material against a cold. A hard material against a soft one. Nothing is done in this project at random, each detail has its reason for being.

The house also develops in a plot with a sharp drop. The architects wanted to use these changes to sort spaces and establish different plans of development of the project. Thus, the pool area and garden are located on a lower level and the difference is used to locate the stairs to the pool. At the highest level we find the housing which has two levels. At the top level an elegant wooden pergola covers the vast terrace belonging to the master bedroom.
