Hotel 11-B, one block of multi-family housing, is located in the exclusive area of Elviria, Marbella, following the design and trends of Mediterranean architecture. The fusion of local tradition with current building materials creates an exhibition of great expression. The building, the landscape of the social areas and pool, reflect a place designed for the enjoyment and tranquillity of its inhabitants.
This study of Architects in Marbella has précised all the details in the elaboration of this project: from the redefinition and movement of lands, the planning of the piece on the ground until attending and following the implementation of each one of the aspects involved in the construction of the structure of the building and own of each one of the homes according to the local ordinances and regulations.
The block of nine apartments presents two types of housing:
TYPE A: Develops the entire program on a single plant. It is composed of Lobby, Living Room, Bedroom, Kitchen, Bathroom and Terrace. These apartments are larger, have a rectangular configuration.
TYPE B: The program is also develop on one floor and consists of a Lobby, Lounge, Kitchen, a Bedroom, Bathroom and Terrace. These apartments are smaller; their configuration resembles an inverted “L”.
The access to the building was made by an individual vehicle exit that connects with the main street access to the urbanization. Pedestrian access to the building was made through a parking area, with sidewalks to the lobby. The North façade is under the natural slope of the land; the same happens with the Gym of 221 M2, located on the 1st Floor, whose North façade is also under ground.
The design of the project developed by the firm of González & Jacobson Architecture in Marbella, has considered using the conditions and location of the land, giving it an entity of its own, enhancing its characteristics and those of the area.
