RESIDENTIAL GITANI IN QUERETARO

The land on which we operate has an area of 21,112 M².

The Project is comprised of a total of 248 apartments spread over 4 blocks of apartment blocks.

The total constructed area computable is 35,300 M² above ground in any of the three alternatives.

The Siting of the buildings will be in such a way that allows us a greater visual permeability while a proper solar orientation is favorable.

The blocks will rise linearly with respect to the plot and in a linear along the existing road.

The complex will have free zones for gardens with landscaping and two swimming pool areas which may be accessed by pedestrian roads from any part.

SYNOPSIS PROJECT BY THE ARCHITECTS IN QUERETARO:

The Gitani apartments in Queretaro, Mexico, is a complex of collective single family homes consisting of 4 blocks , parallel to the public road.

The strategy of the disposition of blocks in the plot is fundamental, as the complex is ordered according to the full and empty spaces. The alignment of the four pieces acts as a barrier and protects the common gardens from stranger's glance that are walking next to the street.

Also, the buildings have two different images: a more urban image that turns to the access area and another image to the opposite side, shown with less forcefulness to common pool and garden areas. The blocks are separated from each other and slightly rotated to allow the passage of the sun to the pool areas.

For facades, the architects have designed elegant balconies that are shown as long flown trays extolling its horizontal component. In contrast, a central vertical element directs the elevation, interrupting the continuity of the balconies. On the first floor we can also see a longitudinal piece of glass that adds to the interesting composition of the elevation.

On the top floors, balconies get shorter and the surface of the housing decrease. This gives a pyramid look to the complex, which is crowned with a top floor giving access to the flat roof, which will be used as a sun terrace.

All designs are oriented to enjoy the climate of the Queretaro.
