SYNOPSIS PROJECT BY THE ARCHITECTS IN COSTA DEL SOL
The project for Nagüeles shopping center in Costa del Sol, is a work oriented to commercial architecture and in which the plan should accommodate commercial activities and not be protagonist in itself, living it in second plan and giving the best service, with its architectural features and all the activities hosted there.
The architects have proposed a single building to accommodate the entire program, which consists of different parallel aisles, not aligned with large pitched roofs and large windows for natural light penetrating, illuminating the entire complex from above. The building shows strong from the outside, with large gaps in facade for commercial premises. Designed with a simple architecture without great ornaments and covering the basic needs. Large jutting show shadow planes that protect pedestrians approaching the various entrances of the building.
Other tool to convey that the simplicity in their architecture is the use of a limited number of different materials. We can distinguish the roofing ceramic tile, the glass, the finish of the facade and a small stone wall that serves as a foundation to contain the different land levels.
