ELECTRICAL COGENERATION PLANT IN MALAGA

We are facing a project for a Facility/Plant of testing energetic assessment divided into several phases and has several very unique buildings. A groundbreaking project where architects have proposed the most modern construction techniques, the most contemporary materials and daring designs. Curved shapes are featured in this building complex full of fantasy and imagination.

The buildings are designed from an ecological point of view, to respect the environment and contribute to a green architecture and be less aggressive. This is done with items such as an extensive green roof garden that starts from the ground level and rises gently like a green blanket covering much of the building. Thus, the visual impact of the building is reduced and hidden under the elegant curved plane.

The parking spaces also are hidden under a roof and the building breathes through the cracks and the edges of the green mantle. In addition, materials were reused for the development of some the facades, as is the case of one built with severed oil barrels. The behaviour of this façade in levels of thermal and acoustic insulation is very good. A similar performance as of a ventilated façade.

The buildings lodge the extensive program that involves a cogeneration power plant with maximum functionality. Under the warped cover planes are hidden all activities. A calm and quiet outwardly image, agitated and full of movement in the inside.
