CHAIR ACAPULCO

  • : :

The Acapulco chair, born in Mexico in the 50s of the 20th century, is made with a matt black steel structure that supports the seat, formed by an interweaving of PVC ropes made by hand and based on the technique used by the Mayans to weave their hammocks. It is manufactured in different colors and its measurements are 84 x 71 x 100 cm.
It is a tribute to the city of Acapulco, a luxury and glamor tourist destination in the middle of the last century, and has become a classic of many terraces due to its resistance outdoors and its sophisticated and, today, vintage-chic design.

Although there are many imitations and different manufacturers, the Danish company OK Design was the first to sell it and today it continues to be manufactured in Mexico.
