GREENLIFE VILLAGE MARBELLA
Urban development, architecture and landscape.
The land on which we operate has an area of 40,000 M².
The constructed area is 20,000 M² above ground and 3,200 M² in the basement for parking and storage.
The whole project consists of 6 buildings with a total of 78 apartments and 3 pool areas and 26 Townhouses with a pool area.
One of the uniqueness of the project is its location around one of the oldest golf courses in Marbella (Golf Rio Real).
The forms of land use to be set to suit market conditions but also adapt to the topography that is offered to architects. At Greenlife Village typological diversity is solved with talent, in a combination of townhouses, apartment blocks and detached houses that without losing the stylistic unity of the complex, it is shaped to the needs and possibilities of the residents. In the articulation of these variables, each corner has a meaning by itself, an aesthetic expression in which the simplicity and sobriety are assurance of welfare.
SYNOPSIS PROJECT BY THE ARCHITECTS IN MALAGA:
The buildings adapt to ambience and are placed on the plot with great naturalness, without causing the slightest impact. Respect the environment and become part of it, as if it had been always there.
The architects in Malaga have designed the blocks with 3 levels or floors and a fourth one with smaller surface to minimize considerably the visual impact. Respect and sensitivity to their surroundings is one of the premises. It seems that the building is wasting away in different horizontal planes represented by the eaves of the roof, balconies and jutting terraces.
They are collective family housing blocks that open to the landscape, allowing the green around them penetrate their stay. The architecture deals with the idea of a designed for the enjoyment of the climate on the Costa del Sol in Malaga, open to Rio Real golf course.
The vegetation, very present in this project, floods the different planes at different heights, diluting the boundaries between interior and exterior. An architecture work faced from all disciplines, where urban design and landscape are essential parts. Everything is developed to the smallest detail.
Vegetation appears not incidentally in various ways: tall trees to mark out open areas and to intuited them in the distance, low and colourful vegetation to accompany roads and winding paths. Nothing is by chance and every small detail contributes to the overall image sought by the architects in Malaga.
