Quercus del Real de la Quinta designed by González & amp; Jacobson Arquitectura is a unique residential complex, located in an exceptional natural landscape with panoramic views over the Mediterranean Sea. This project innovates with white concrete, wood and stone material to promote the essence of a spectacular environment with nature.


The Quercus Residential Complex is part of the development of Real de la Quinta, belonging to the municipality of Benahavís in the province of Malaga, which is made up of several residential complexes around a golf course, an artificial lake where the Lago-Club and its adjacent areas for sports-recreational activities.


Quercus consists of 102 apartments with large terraces, distributed in 18 terraced blocks on the hillside, with a maximum height of 3 floors and no more than 2 apartments per level. The common space free of buildings has been organized in landscaped areas, pedestrian circulation areas adapted to the topography of the land and swimming pool areas for adults and children.

The elaboration of this project comprises a compendium of things, information, calculations, drawings, etc. all without exception are used to elaborate and design the creation of a work of architecture. For more than 20 years the Gonzalez & Jacobson Architecture Studio has been a reference in the real estate market. In this opportunity González & Jacobson Arquitectura presents a project for a residential complex in Riviera de Sol, a town belonging to the municipality of Mijas in the province of Malaga. Idyllic and quiet residential area between sea and mountains. Only 40 km from Malaga City, near Fuengirola and golf courses and 15 minutes drive from the famous Marbella.


On a plot of 25.013 m2, with a maximum permitted buildable area of 29.015,08 m2 and a maximum permitted occupation (45%) of 11.255,85 m2, 6 blocks of contemporary design are planned. Five practically (1,2,3,4,5) with the same characteristics and the 6th in the shape of a “V”. A slight wave movement appears in the structure of the facades of each block, giving fluidity to it. Within a plot of 45,453.31m2, 4 apartment blocks with 4 different typologies will be built, which vary in the amount of useful square meters (from 125 m2 to 350 m2) number of rooms (2-3 and 4), internal distribution and its location within each building.
