VILLA 417, URB. ROSARIO, MARBELLA, MALAGA

 

Gonzalez & Jacobson Architects in Malaga present VILLA 417 as another of their challenges, designs for a single-family house in an isolated plot in the Urbanization of El Rosario, Marbella, Malaga. Using all their knowledge and experience acquired over the years in the execution of this type of works, they propose bold and modern designs that fit perfectly into the Mediterranean lifestyle.

 

Some of the designs are presented from the complete initiation of the process and approach on the ground and others, however, by having some building already present on the site, are contemplated from the reform, expansion and demolition of some areas if necessary.

 

El Rosario is part of the town of Marbella, Malaga Province, residential urbanization located between beach and hills, with plots of great charm. Some with unbeatable views of the coast, just 10 minutes from the old town of Marbella and 30 minutes from Malaga city. VILLA 417

The project to be presented for this plot is a detached single-family house on three levels with a terrace, a 55m2 swimming pool, plus land for gardens and parking.

 

The design comprises a contemporary architecture. A basically linear, simple and functional style, where wide and luminous spaces are created. The use of glass predominates, accompanied by rocks and the consistent use of versatile materials such as wood with new techniques is characteristic, ecological and energy saving trends are a success. In short, a light and slender construction that marks a style giving way to modernity.

 

The Villa is located on the ground taking advantage of the conditions of the land, its topography, so that its main entrance will be at the height of the public road that leads to the first floor with a hall welcomes us that later leads to the pool, on the same floor at one end we have a large study and in the basement is located the parking.
 

On level 1 of rectangular plan, there are three bedrooms with terraces and bathroom.

LOS JARALILLOS VILLAS IN BENAHAVIS

Design concept for 10 Villas in Benahavis – Los Jaralillos sector.

 

The González & Jacobson Architecture team is immersed in new projects. Always at the forefront in the presentation and development of their designs and in the application of new trends.

 

Gonzalez & Jacobson is already an architectural firm of reference on the Costa del Sol, participating in countless competitions and presentation of ideas for urban planning projects of all sizes. Proof of this is this preliminary design concept for the grouping of 10 Villas that is proposed on the surface of two continuous plots of 13.828m2 in total and an urban development of 8.455 m2 in Los Jaralillos in Benahavís.

 

The analysis of the land, its characteristics and possibilities is fundamental for the location of each element on it, so that each piece can benefit from its views, space and orientation. The idea is not to exceed the building density, always leaving space for green areas.

 

The independent villas of contemporary design are proposed with 3 different distribution and access options according to their location/level within the site.

 

Option A: Villa with first floor access with a total area of approximately 244m2. It has large terraces, porch and private pool.

 

Option B: Villa with access from the second floor with a total area of approximately 258m2. It has large terraces, porch and private pool.

 

Option C: Villa with access from the second floor with a total of approximately 270m2 of surface area. It has large terraces, porch and private pool.
 

Some of the facades of the villas will have natural stone or marble cladding, giving each villa its own individual character, a play of textures and contrasts.

 

The flooring inside the villas will be porcelain tile and large format 90 x 90, as in terraces and porches, but in smaller format and non-slip. The bathrooms will have ceramic tiles imitating stone.

 

The outdoor areas, pool area and sun loungers also with stone imitation porcelain, gray artificial wood deck, gray cement pavers and stone for the access roads to the houses. Natural, neutral tones that integrate the built with the environment, achieving a perfect symbiosis.

 

All details are considered in the construction of these villas, from the planning to the finishing touches. Villas designed to facilitate the daily activities of those who live there. They are functional, provide comfort and make it a special place for coexistence and enjoyment.

The use of glass predominates, the consistent use of versatile materials and innovative techniques is a characteristic, trends to the ecological and energy saving are a success. The house is located on the land taking advantage of its conditions, its topography and inclination, so that its main entrance will be at the height of the public road that takes us to the top floor / Level2, where the parking is also located. An entrance hall welcomes us and a staircase takes us to the other levels.

 

On level 1, with rectangular shape, three of the four bedrooms with terraces and bathroom are located.

VILLA 430

The land object of the present project displays a topography with a regular east-west slope direction (18metros) of around 62%. Following the characteristics of the land, the house is located within the plot so that its views, its incidence to natural light and any other feature adds quality, wellbeing, space and beauty to the design.

 

Due to the natural morphology of the land, the entrance of the house will be made by the access floor, taking into account that the house is built on three levels: access floor, first floor and ground floor / basement. Once in the entrance, through a porch you will reach a hall, then a nucleus of stairs that communicates with the rest of the levels. On the exterior of this same level, at the north end, there will be a car park with capacity for three cars.

 

The first floor will be occupied in its central area by an entrance hall, a toilet and a spacious living room. The north wing will be occupied by a dining room, kitchen with pantry from where you can access an outdoor patio.

 

The ground floor / basement will be designed on one hand to house the four bedrooms and their respective bathrooms, with direct access to a solarium with swimming pool.

 

Each design presents its own characteristics. It shows that each home is a special site adapted to the requirements and needs of its owners or whoever requests special demands or technicalities.

VILLA 415

On this plot there is already an existing building, which will be subject to reform and expansion, in addition to two areas or dependencies that will be demolished, in order to project a renovated house on its ground floor and a totally new high floor.

 

The existing building dates from 1972 and is in a good state of conservation. However, a complete redesign of the whole house is proposed and will be adapted to avant-garde technologies, novelty finishes and resources. Giving the house a new actual look and feel providing its owners additional benefits in terms of use, comfort and enjoyment.

 

Within the housing needs program, two floors are projected: first and ground floor, for a total of 320 m2 approximate, 191m2 on terraces and porches, few meters for the pool, Jacuzzi and other areas, that will give a unique and own style to the Villa . Villa 415 another example of the essence of Gonzalez & Jacobson Architecture.
 

The entrance to the house will be made by its north elevation, through an access porch that leads to a main hall with staircase. To the right of the hall will be located a bathroom and a laundry area. In front of the hall, a large living room and kitchen that communicates with the terrace / pergola located at the west end, facing the garden and pool. In this level also three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

 

On the upper floor will be located the fourth bedroom, with its respective bathroom, dressing room, terraces and Jacuzzi.

 

Natural elements, stone, wood, light colors, marble flooring, large windows, an undeniable constructive and ornamental beauty, is Villa 415, characteristic of contemporary architecture. Reflection of this project presented by the architecture studio of Gonzalez & Jacobson.

VILLA 24

 

Modern contemporary design, with clean and vibrant lines in the execution. Large glass windows are raised in one of the facades letting in the light, bathing the rooms with a beautiful play of colors.

 

The land of the present project has a rectangular shape and topography with a maximum difference of heights of about 10 meters, with a slope to the south. On the Costa del Sol, the location of the edifications on the plot is very important because we try always to get the best of natural light to illuminate and bring warmth to homes during wintertime.

 

The house of 373m2 is divided into two levels: ground floor and upper floor.

 

The access to the house is done by its facade, through an access porch that leads into a main hall, on the left a guest toilet, on the right the staircase to access the upper level and in front the living and dining room that occupies the central part of the ground floor. The east wing of this level will be occupied by a bedroom with its bathroom while in the west will be located the kitchen with a laundry room and outside a garage for three vehicles. This plant will be bordered by its south facade, a porch- terrace facing the garden with outdoor pool.

 

On the upper floor the three bedrooms with their respective bathrooms. Being one of them the master bedroom that will be located at the east end of the floor, sharing a terrace with the rest of the rooms.

 

An ideal and practical approach to daily life, the enjoyment of views and the Mediterranean climate, an approach inspired by a global vision with local touches.
