You hear it everywhere. Today Breathe is a reference site in Marbella and a must-book. A place that does not go unnoticed. The studio of Gonzalez & Jacobson Architecture, firm established in Marbella and with extensive experience, was chosen to capture and interpret the idea of its creators. The final result was definitely a success and achievement. A sample of professionalism and commitment to the challenges and design. A great pleasure for our team to be part of this interpretation and pleasure for the senses.
“Eating in a fine dining restaurant that cares for and respects the environment, which generates its own energy and raw materials is possible in Breathe. A pioneering multi-space on the Costa del Sol that connects with nature, cuisine and the best design.”

Reserva Obligada (Must Visit)
Breathe, the gastronomic oasis in Marbella that respects the environment.
They are self-sufficient in energy and raw materials.

As you can see, the works on this villa are quite advanced and you can already appreciate the composition of volumes and the design planned for the facades, with more opaque planes on the front road to preserve the maximum privacy, and much more open to the south and west, with transition spaces between inside and outside through the cantilever, which create porches straddling the living room and the future open terraces.
This villa in La Cala de Mijas opens to the west through large glazed openings making the most of natural light and thus prolonging through the terraces the areas of daily life.. It has an avant-garde design and quality materials.
In short, it is an elegant villa, in a privileged environment, surrounded by golf courses and with water and sun as protagonists, so that living here makes it an experience for the senses.
We hope you like it.
In early April we share the draft of these 11 luxury villas in the Golf Valley, in Nueva Andalucía, Marbella, on a plot of 9,900 m2.
Since then, the González & Jacobson team has continued to advance in the design and today we begin to show you the first exterior images, with a contemporary style and a harmonious aesthetic, where the play of volumes is combined with the inclined planes that anchor the homes to its environment.
We remind you that these are high-quality homes, where authentic luxury is found in its exquisite design, and the elegance of its materials. We will share more very soon.
The creative process of the overall image starts from the horizontality that mark the slabs, in white, moving planes, undulating, which are topped with glazed parapets to improve the views, and in which the wooden inserts in pergolas and vertical planes provide a groundbreaking note and an elegant and natural touch.
Landscaping is fundamental in our proposals, the exterior design is part of the overall idea and buildings cannot be understood without their surroundings. In this case, we have paid special attention to the interior space of the “U” block, halfway between garden and courtyard. Therefore with a different character from the rest, the proposed textures ,materials and species play an important role.
González & Jacobson Architecture proposes for this competition 6 blocks totaling 159 dwellings. Given that the user profile at which they are focused is both first and second residence, a higher percentage of 3-bedroom apartments has been chosen, up to 65% of the total, and the remaining 35% of 2-bedroom apartments. Not surprisingly, this is an area quite consolidated by buildings, which in its beginnings was a summer resort area but in recent years has come to have a significant occupancy throughout the year, thanks to its proximity to the highway, the excellent location just minutes from shopping centers and Fuengirola, as well as the existence of facilities and services nearby.
In the housing prototypes that we show you, you can appreciate the distribution of the day areas, with kitchens integrated with the living rooms, creating much larger spaces. The bedrooms are mostly open to the main facades, much more open, and all of them have closets. The master bedrooms have walk-in closets and en-suite bathrooms.
González & Jacobson Architecture proposal for this competition is developed in three phases, with 6 buildings of different sizes. Each of the phases has its own pool area and gardens, as well as road access.
The first phase has a higher building density, due to the better orographic conditions of the terrain.
The second phase frees up a wide strip of land between the buildings, where the existing watercourse and depression of the land is used to create a large garden area.
For the last phase, in the central and higher area of the plot, we have proposed a “U” shaped building with an interesting design of the central space and the main facades, more accentuated here but repeated in the rest of the buildings of the complex, as a sign of identity.
The sections show the unevenness of the terrain, to which the different blocks are adapted, and in which the pieces that our team has proposed as multipurpose rooms for the community are inserted.
New occasion for the González & Jacobson design team to develop all our creativity. This time it is a plot with irregular shape and quite a slope, but with a magnificent orientation that has allowed us to place the different residential buildings optimizing the views and sunlight.
Today we advance the first sketches, germ of what we will show you in the coming days, because the freehand drawing is still essential to shape our ideas.
The presentation of the Show Flat of Los Miradores del Sol, the residential complex promoted by the TM real estate group in Estepona, next to the Saladillo beach, has recently taken place.
As we already told you in autumn, when we showed you the project and start of the works, it is about a set of 49 homes distributed in four low-rise blocks, arranged in a “U” shape around a large central space with more than 1,600 m2 of gardens and swimming pools that opens to the south.
Group TM also offers the possibility of acquiring the property with all the furniture and equipment necessary to move in, as well as customizing it by choosing from a range of optional materials.
Completion is scheduled for autumn 2018.
We encourage you to get to know this development.
Following a current design line, González & Jacobson Arquitectura proposes a contemporary image for these villas in Benahavís, with flat roofs, volumes with continuous exterior cladding and some panels clad with natural stone. The flooring is provided in a large format for the noble areas, being repeated outside on porches with a non-slip finish, as an extension of the rooms.
These villas are aimed at a medium-to-high level profile, which seeks first-class qualities and finishes, and, above all, comfortable homes. For this reason, the villas will have air conditioning and underfloor heating, as well as pre-installation of home automation, so that life in them is very, very comfortable, because, after all, the real luxury is enjoying our quality time.
