THE ARCHITECTS VISION IN COSTA MIJAS:

The Villa Harris is a detached house with garden and private pool located in Mijas, Costa del Sol. On a plot of 850 square meters this group of architects has designed a home based on traditional character architecture with certain contemporary architecture traits. Is a combination of the most interesting architecture of the area with modern and contemporary edges.

The property is presented as an aggregation of white volumes crowned each with sloping ceramic tile roof. The different planes that make up the roof intersect forming stylish hips that seem to float on white volumes. This game of volumes gives to the different facades a great depth, creating a series of planes of light and shadow that fill the projections with movement. Housing seeks asymmetric beauty, where each piece protrudes from the previous and is left staggered. A high stone wall surrounds the plot protecting inland areas from prying eyes. We can also see different gear bricks that create shapes and drawings, providing the rebels with various shades.

The villa is a common type of construction in this area of Malaga and the architectural firm has developed many projects of similar kind.
