RESIDENTIAL LAGOS IN NIGERIA

The land on which we operate has an area of 9.4 hectares, for a total of 24 single family plots, tennis courts, clubhouse and pool area.

In a residential project there are three unavoidable principles, the mix of features, the human scale and quality of public spaces. This project stars from a proposal that adds these rules and combines them with an exquisite delicacy in the transitions.

In a unique setting are inserted different uses, an direct perimeter access to the housing areas adapted to the gliding of the terrain and open to an stunning interior in its landscape qualities and expansion.

URBAN PLANNING ARCHITECTS VISION IN NIGERIA:

This project consists of the urban development of residential Lagos, Nigeria. It is a complex of collective dwellings with clubhouse, pool garden and sports areas with tennis courts.

This study of planners, architects have developed an idea of division into lots around a landscaped swimming pool space and equipment. The proposed approach is smart and clean. The built volumes serve as visual and acoustic barrier protecting the central community areas, and maintain privacy. The blocks of flats are shown more closed to the outside in its relationship to the street and more permeable in the elevations dumps to the community garden. Every detail is the product of logic and contributes to the achievement of a functional and honest project with its environment.

The urbanism is a discipline that is part of the architectural project but which pays attention to a wider range of scales. Works from the planning and division of plots, the different sections of the roads and even small details such as treatments to be used in common areas. City planners /architects have developed a multidisciplinary collaborative work, which has as result the harmony between all facets of the project.
