ALMENARA URBAN COMPLEX

 

The land on which we operate has an area of 600 hectares.

The combination of elements in an urbanized area established hierarchies and priorities, their specific power and gives it personality. Almeria was designed to have its own name.

Each unit is a unique area of outstanding spatial attributes that satisfies desires and identities. The respect for topography influences the design of golf courses and, therefore, housing, hotels, etc.,which contributes in the creation of different environments, with a keen sense of representation and integration with the surroundings.

 

VISION OF ARCHITECTS URBAN PLANNERS

 

Almenara is an urban planning development project, designed and developed by this group of architects in San Roque, in the province of Cadiz, Spain. It is a complex urban development which has required work at various scales, to be certain that the operation of all flows and that the implementation of the residential complex occurs in the best way.

An urban development requires lots of experience and the best skills, while working with huge land proportions, being in this case the number of 600 hectares.

The study and subsequent development of road mobility and pedestrian flows, is of great importance since it will determine the proper functioning of the whole set. A studied mobility results in an agile project, apparently simple and clean despite all its complexity.

The density of occupation of housing spaces per unit is fundamental, to determine the proportions between full and emptiness in the plane, a harmony between the occupied and free space. That is why this group of city planners, architects in Spain have delved deeply into the project in its different scales.

The experience of being city planners, architects in other countries like Spain, Mexico, Angola and Morocco greatly enriched their knowledge, facing projects with different perspectives. Each country and its culture has given these architecture many tools to approach each one of their projects, adapting to all of them and their features.
