Casablanca in Marrakech

The land on which we worked had a surface of 4,100 M².

The floor area is of 12,045 M² above ground and 4,900 M² in the basement for parking, and storage facilities.

The whole projected in Marrakech comprises 2 buildings with a total of 79 apartments and a open pool area.

The adoption of a personal style, of aown brand, despite the considerable distance and time, requires a long experience and understanding of the evolution of taste and social trends.

This project “ Marrakech ” shows how the concepts of simplicity with technical complexity is a formula for success, as the meaning of an idea crosses borders because their perception is intelligible at any time and any place that deals with memory.

SYNOPSIS PROJECT BY THE ARCHITECTS IN MARRAKECH:

The residential complex in Marrakech, Morocco, consists of two blocks of collective single family housing that are built around a landscaped common area and pool. The architectural concept is simple but complex in its development. Architects try to reach a balance between built and green areas to make the two zones work in harmony and be nourished each one from the other.

The blocks are designed with a certain stylistic air of the place, but without giving up the most characteristic details of this study architecture. They Maintain their architectural line adapting to the most traditional image of the country. This is one of the bases of an honest and sensitive work.

The complex in Marrakech shows facades, which develop by surrounding the pool area, very open and permeable. Elevations load with movement and hues, niches and ledges that cast beautiful shadow planes, filling the façade with contrasts. The vegetation can be seen all over the place , not just being part of the gardens and common areas, but also from homes and terraces , appearing in the form of overhanging vegetation that helps to integrate the blocks into the environment.

The architecture of the houses is another virtue of this project in Marrakech, where architects have made every effort to ensure that these would be flexible and open to the landscape without losing privacy.
